Site Supervisor

GVR Solutions are currently working with a specialist roofing contractor known for delivering high-quality roofing solutions across residential and commercial projects in the London area. Due to sustained growth and new contract wins, they are seeking an experienced and reliable Roofing Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to spec.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing roofing operatives and subcontractors on site, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and maintaining site productivity and quality standards. You will report to the Contracts Manager and act as the key link between site teams and management.

Key Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor:

Supervise day-to-day operations on various roofing projects

*

Ensure quality of workmanship across flat, pitched, or specialist roofing systems

*

Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to maintain programme

*

Enforce health & safety standards and complete on-site documentation

*

Carry out toolbox talks, inductions, and RAMS briefings

*

Liaise with Contracts Manager, clients, and other trades on-site

*

Report progress and resolve any site issues in a timely manner

*

Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and timesheets

Requirements of the Site Supervisor:

Previous experience supervising roofing projects (essential)

*

Strong knowledge of flat, pitched, or specialist roofing systems

*

Valid SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Blue), and First Aid qualifications

*

Ability to manage operatives and subcontractors effectively

*

Good understanding of health & safety and site compliance

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel around London

*

Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
