Geotechnical Engineer

Geotechnical Engineer – Lincolnshire/Peterborough – £50-60,000 DOE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer specialising in land remediation to join a well established ground stabilisation and land remediation company based in Lincolnshire. As Geotechnical Engineer you will play a pivotal role in managing remediation works on company projects nationwide.

Experience within a similar role is essential, you will be responsible for leading land remediation across all company projects from assessing initial site samples to developing and implementing a remediation plan, ensuring standards are maintained and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to sites nationwide with potential overnight stays.

Role/Responsibilities

Lead on the technical delivery of remediation

Assess initial site surveys

*

Formulate and implement project plans for remediation

*

Produce detailed reports covering all stages of remediation

*

Perform on-going maintenance and monitoring during the project timeline

*

Health and safety assessments

*

Risk assessments

*

Communicate with clients and subcontractors

Experience/Attributes

*

2-3 years experience within a similar role

*

Degree in Geology or a related field (desirable)

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*

Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle

Permanent – Full Time

£50-60,000 DOE

Fuel card and accommodation when traveling

Hours to suit – there are no set hours for this role due to travel requirements.
