Our client is a privately owned Building Consultancy with offices based in the Northeast are currently looking for a Building Surveyor or a Senior Building Surveyor to join their current team based in the North East.

Ideally you will be MRICS/AssocRICS or have the relevant level of previous experience and be looking to join a small but close-knit professional team who have seen some amazing growth and expansion over the last 12-18 months.

Role/Responsibilities:

– Conducting RICS Level 2 and Level 3 residential building surveys and commercial surveys such as schedule of conditions, PPM's etc.
– Inspecting and reporting on historic and listed buildings
– Producing clear, detailed, and professional reports for private clients
– Managing your own workload and survey schedule with autonomy
– Getting involved in project management for residential and commercial projects

Skills/Experience:

– MRICS or AssocRICS qualified
– Strong experience with residential building surveys, especially for older or period properties
– Able to manage your own workload and operate independently
– Excellent technical knowledge and report-writing skills
– Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
– (Desirable) Experience in commercial property or project work is a bonus, but not essential
– RICS Certified Valuer, desirable but not essential.
