About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to take the lead on an industrial refurbishment project, with a strong focus on groundworks and steel frame fabrication. You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating trades, ensuring health & safety compliance, and delivering project on time and to spec.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day site operations from groundwork through to steel frame fabrication and beyond
· Supervise subcontractors and trades, ensuring high standards of workmanship
· Work closely with project managers, engineers, and QS teams to deliver project goals
· Maintain health and safety in line with regulations
· Coordinate deliveries, materials, and equipment on-site
· Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
· Monitor programme schedules and provide regular progress reports

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager in the construction industry
· Knowledge of groundworks and steel frame building methods
· SMSTS and First Aid qualifications (essential)
· CSCS Managers Card (preferred)
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
