Business Development Manager

This role focuses on expanding their client base, strengthening relationships, and securing new business and supplier opportunities to boost revenue and margin. The Role
As our Business Development Manager – ESS, you'll manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on public and private sector diversification. You will:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve new revenue growth and improve bottom-line performance.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the BPO market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers through consistent networking.
Manage the sales process, including client profiling, presentations, and RFP/RFI/RFQ submissions.
Collaborate with internal teams (Service Delivery, Client Management, Bid Management) to ensure solutions meet client needs and SOWs are competitive.
Report on sales performance, identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and provide market insights.
Utilize conversational AI, automation, and technology to offer diverse services.
Contribute to a positive Health & Safety culture and promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
You
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
5+ years of BPO industry sales/business development experience (UK/Offshore).
Excellent reputation and strong industry networking contacts.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Ability to sell end-to-end outsourced contact centre solutions.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a strong ability to "close the deal."
High-level knowledge of contact centre technology and customer contact strategies.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel. Desirable: Degree in business/marketing, experience with Sales Navigator/Salesforce/CRM, and proficiency in Microsoft/Google packages.
