This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading education provider as a Technical Construction Trainer, delivering high-quality teaching across Level 3 and T-Level programmes – with full training and support to gain teaching qualifications.

This Cambridge-based college is expanding its Construction team and looking for someone with strong industry experience to help train the next generation of construction professionals. You'll deliver a mix of classroom-based learning, tutorials and assessments, all while contributing to an innovative, forward-thinking curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or Level 5 qualification in Construction or the Built Environment and relevant industry experience. Experience teaching or training others is a bonus – but not required.

This is a brilliant role for you to come off the tools and work with the next generation of apprentices.

The Role

Teach Technical Construction across Level 3, T Levels & related programmes

Deliver engaging lessons, tutorials and assessments

Support student progression through pastoral and academic guidance

Help shape curriculum content and delivery aligned with industry standards

The Person

Qualified to Level 5 or higher in Construction / Built Environment

Recent industry experience (e.g. site, surveying, planning, retrofit)

Passion for teaching and mentoring others

Based within commutable distance of Cambridge

Teaching qualification desirable – full support provided
