Multi Skilled Engineer

Multi Skilled Engineer – TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work for a dedicate organisation who provide a 6 start high quality private service to clients across a multi-site basis.

Location – Newmarket

Salary – £42,000.00

Hours – 8/9am to 4/5pm – Monday to Friday

Weekends – 1-in-4 weekend shift

Overtime – Overtime is there at 1.5x anything over 40hrs

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, generators, and related machinery.

· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions promptly.

· Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of mechanical systems.

· Respond quickly to emergency repair requests, minimizing downtime and disruptions to estate operations.

· Collaborate with team members, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and installations.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory management.

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

· Qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (such as ONC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

· Proven experience in mechanical/electrical role, preferably in a facilities management or estate environment.
