Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Interiors

EA Associates are working in partnership with a leading specialist contractor delivering complex architectural internal packages for landmark commercial and residential developments across London.

With a strong reputation for technical delivery and collaboration, our client partners with top-tier main contractors and developers to execute detailed, design-led internal fit-out works – including bespoke partitions, high-performance ceilings, fire protection, and acoustic solutions, often forming part of high-value interior packages.

Due to a strong project pipeline and continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Role Overview:

You’ll be working alongside an experienced Senior QS and Commercial Manager, assisting with the financial management of multiple live projects across London. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to complex construction environments while developing your commercial and contractual skills in a highly supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing project costs, valuations, and applications for payment

Support in preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and variations

*

Conduct site measurements and support take-offs

*

Assist with monthly reporting, cost forecasting, and risk analysis

*

Help maintain strong relationships with site teams and external stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

*

1-3 years of experience in a commercial or assistant QS role (ideally within interiors, fit-out, or subcontracting)

*

Degree qualified or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

*

Keen to progress in a dynamic, project-driven environment
