Job spec for Commercial Manager
Reporting to the Director you will be an experienced Commercial Manager and have proven ability in all aspects of the commercial process, including the management of the commercial performance of Bourne Rail & Special Projects construction projects. You will support the Director & the Project Team to ensure the project is delivered on time and to the required specification and standards, as required by the company and Sub-contract/s.
Duties:
Tender to construction review to establish entitlements on receipt of CI information
Monthly Applications in line with contractual dates
Monthly payment certificates: receive, review, challenge, agree & communicate to Accounts
Final accounts within time constraints of the Contract
Monthly CVR's
Assess and communicate impact of variations within time constraints of the Contract
Contractual Notices within time constraints of the Contract
Final accounts within time constraints of the Contract
Manage Subcontractors accounts by issuing payment certificates and payless notices within required time constraints
Place Sub-contract Purchase Orders to de-risk the business
The role is based from our Ringwood office and as required by projects. As locations can vary the post holder must be willing to travel and stay away from home as required.
Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience of working in a commercial role with total responsibility for project
Management of main projects
Contractually and commercially astute
In depth knowledge of the construction industry
Experience of placement of orders for specialist packages
Full Driving License
