Freelance Freelance Project Manager – Drylining & Ceilings

We are working with a well-established specialist drylining and ceiling subcontractor who, after 15 successful years in the industry, have secured a number of new high-profile packages. As a result, they are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Project Manager to oversee two upcoming projects at Heathrow Airport.
The Opportunity:
You’ll be responsible for managing two small but intricate drylining and ceiling packages (including metal and plasterboard ceilings), with a combined value of £1.5M. These works are part of a wider framework with Mace as the principal contractor, and the programme is set to run until September 2026.
The Role:
* Day-based role (as all site work is carried out during night shifts)
* Focused on planning, programming, progress reporting, logistics, and client/design meetings during daytime hours
* Daily handover from the night Site Manager to keep you fully up to date
* Interface with Mace and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience managing drylining and ceiling projects (ideally in live environments or secure sites)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Valid Black CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications
* Able to start immediately and commit through to project completion
