Project Manager – High-End Commercial New Build

Location: Plymouth, South Devon
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: £60,000 + Car Allowance + Package

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead the delivery of a prestigious high-end commercial new build in South Devon? We’re working with a respected regional contractor to recruit a Project Manager to take full control of a £5m+ commercial scheme based just outside of Plymouth.

This is a flagship project that requires a confident, proactive manager with experience delivering high-value commercial buildings to exacting standards. Long-term, the role offers further regional project opportunities and excellent career development within a growing contractor.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all on-site operations including programme delivery, H&S, and site team coordination

* Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

* Maintain clear communication with the senior leadership team through regular progress reporting

* Oversee site Health & Safety documentation and compliance

* Liaise with the design and commercial teams to ensure smooth project delivery

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

* Previous experience managing commercial new build projects valued at £5m+

* Strong knowledge of traditional build methods

* SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong project planning, leadership, and subcontractor coordination skills

* Local supply chain knowledge is highly desirable
