The Opportunity
We are seeking a freelance Site Manager to join an established project team on a timber-framed residential housing development in Nottingham. In close partnership with the project team, you will oversee subcontractor activities, enforce rigorous quality standards, and ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations.

CSCS CardExperience:
Demonstrated experience in residential housing projects, with timber frame construction knowledge is advantageous but not essential
Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience of site managing, working with leading construction contractorsKey Skills:
Strong IT skills
Capability to conduct successful negotiations
Clear communication abilities combined with a keen eye for detail
Capacity to adjust to changes and amend project plans as required
Solid understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with a wide range of stakeholdersKey Responsibilities
Maintain and oversee relationships with stakeholders
Carry out scheduled quality inspections and assessments
Execute effective strategies to ensure steady project advancement
Preparation of accurate and comprehensive project documentation
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate unforeseen challenges
Reporting regularly and consistently with the Visting Contracts Manager
Establish and sustain positive client relationships, communicating regularly
Contribute to strategic planning and organisational decision-making activities
Ensure the project aligns with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Track and oversee the project schedule to guarantee compliance with deadlines
Create and deliver routine reports on project advancement, challenges, and results
Detect potential risks and implement effective mitigation and management strategies
Handle and resolve project issues as they emerge for the remainder of the project lifecycle
Create thorough project schedules, taking into account critical milestones and dependencies
Respond to client inquiries and ensure project deliverables meet expectations and satisfaction
