Job Title: Social Value Coordinator
Location: Glasgow 

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Social Value Coordinator to lead the delivery of social value initiatives for a major Roads Maintenance and Operations contract in North Lanarkshire. This role involves supporting the successful implementation of social value strategies that create positive impacts for local communities, including employment opportunities, training, apprenticeships, and community engagement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage the Social Value Plan in line with contract commitments

Deliver high-quality social value initiatives such as local employment, training, apprenticeships, and community engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for social value-related enquiries and community feedback

Monitor and report on the impact of social value activities, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including local councils, community groups, educational institutions, and supply chain partners

Lead social value impact studies and support award submissions

Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain to integrate social value across project delivery

Ensure compliance with all relevant social value regulations and policies

About You:

Experience in managing social value, community engagement, or CSR initiatives

Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience working with public sector clients or in community development, employment, or training sectors

Analytical skills to monitor and evaluate social impact

Knowledge of social value frameworks (e.g., National TOMs) is desirable

Experience in the construction or infrastructure sectors is a plus, but not essential
