Our client, a well-established and reputable construction company operating across Scotland, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to join their growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business delivering a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Assistant, you will play a crucial support role within the commercial department, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your duties will include:

Assisting Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers with daily commercial operations

*

Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including cost reports and valuations

*

Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor management

*

Tracking project costs and handling invoice reconciliations

*

Assisting with the preparation of tenders and contract documents

*

Liaising with site teams, suppliers, and clients to support efficient project delivery

Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with:

Previous experience in a commercial, administrative, or financial support role, within the construction industry.

Strong numeracy and organisational skills

*

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

*

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

*

A relevant qualification in construction, business administration, or finance (desirable but not essential)
