Role
We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join one of the top 5 UK's Leading Property Services companies to deliver a major Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and external refurbishment programme across Ealing. The project involves extensive window and roof replacements, as well as associated envelope upgrades, delivered over a £5M/year, 3-year framework.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key commercial role on a high-profile, sustainability-led programme improving homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all commercial aspects of the project, from cost planning to final account
* Prepare and issue subcontractor enquiries and manage procurement
* Administer contracts and manage change control and variations
* Track and report on project cost, value, cashflow, and margin performance
* Liaise with site teams, client representatives, and the wider supply chain
* Ensure works are delivered in line with budget, programme, and compliance standards
* Support monthly valuations, applications for payment, and forecasting
Requirements
* Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally on refurbishment or retrofit schemes
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts (ideally JCT Measured Term or Intermediate)
* Experience working on external works – windows, roofing, cladding, or similar
* Understanding of SHDF or energy-efficiency retrofit standards is a plus
* Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
