Estimator – Flooring
Our client, a market leader in high-performance flooring systems, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team.
With a strong track record across commercial, residential, education, and hospitality sectors, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and reputable company at the forefront of acoustic innovation.
As Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in producing accurate, competitive, and commercially viable estimates for both tender and design-and-build projects. You'll work closely with the pre-construction, sales, and project teams to help secure and deliver work across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for acoustic flooring, spray plaster, soundproofing, and underfloor heating systems
Analyse drawings, specifications, and client documents
Liaise with suppliers to obtain up-to-date pricing and technical data
Work alongside sales and project teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment
Assist in bid submissions and value engineering opportunities
Maintain accurate records of tender documents and pricing structures
What You'll Need
Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally within fit-out or flooring
Familiarity with construction drawings, schedules, and measurement tools
Strong numerical and commercial awareness
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus
A proactive, detail-driven approach to delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
