Assistant Site Manager – Residential
We’re currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager on behalf of a well-established residential housebuilder. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy, fast-paced site environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality new homes.
This role is ideal for someone with previous residential site experience who is available for an immediate or near-immediate start.
Role Responsibilities

Assist the Site Manager with daily coordination of trades and subcontractors
*
Support in ensuring homes are built to required quality and programme timelines
*
Maintain high health & safety standards on site in line with NHBC and company policy
*
Conduct quality checks and support snagging and handover processes
*
Keep accurate records of site progress and report issues as they arise
*
Liaise with suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams as needed
Requirements
*
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar on residential new build projects
*
Good understanding of construction sequencing and standards within the housebuilding sector
*
SMSTS or SSSTS and a valid CSCS card (required)
*
First Aid certification
*
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
*
Availability to start on a short-term basis
