Site Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a respected refurbishment contractor on two exciting projects based in Kent.

About the Projects:

Primary Project:
The external refurbishment of a Grade II listed building – this is the lead project and requires a Site Manager with strong experience in heritage works, listed building compliance, and managing skilled trades with sensitivity to conservation requirements.

*

Secondary Project:
The internal refurbishment of a community centre, now in its final few months. You’ll ensure smooth delivery to completion, working closely with the project team to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations on both projects

*

Manage subcontractors, trades, and site personnel

*

Ensure health & safety compliance at all times

*

Liaise with conservation officers, architects, and stakeholders

*

Monitor progress, quality, and resolve on-site issues

*

Maintain clear records, reports, and communication lines

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment/heritage projects

*

Knowledge of Grade II listed building regulations and processes

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (required)

*

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

*

Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to shifting priorities
