Document Controller – Construction Sector

Known for delivering high-quality work across roofing, cladding, and façade projects, our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Document Controller to join their team based in Hillington.

Role Overview:
As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting live construction projects by ensuring documentation is managed, distributed, and stored accurately and efficiently. You’ll be a key part of the project team, maintaining oversight of documentation workflows and compliance from start to finish.
Responsibilities Include:
Document Control & CDE Management
Manage all project documentation within the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring files are correctly named, uploaded, and accessible to relevant teams. Maintain document version control and ensure proper distribution of updates and approvals. Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to document control protocols. Track submissions and deadlines and conduct regular audits alongside the regional document control and digital construction teams.
QA Inspection Support
Assist in the collection and tracking of quality assurance inspections and reports. Support site teams in the accurate filing and submission of QA documentation. Ensure QA records meet both internal and regulatory standards. Collaborate with project managers to resolve any discrepancies or missing documentation.
O&M Documentation Management
Gather and review O&M manuals from subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure completeness and compliance with client and industry requirements. Coordinate with handover teams and external providers to ensure accurate delivery of O&M documentation at project close.
