Site Manager Needed – Convenience Store Refit (Manchester)

Location: Manchester
Duration: 7 Weeks (with potential follow-on work)
Rate: £(Apply online only)/day
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 7-week convenience store refit project in Manchester. This role involves managing multiple elements of the build and is ideal for someone with a joinery background and food retail experience. There is a strong possibility to go straight onto another job.
Project Scope:
* Key areas of work:
* Basement works
* Installation of a mezzanine floor
* Shop floor refit (including installation of new refrigeration units)
* All works are internal and will be completed during day shifts
* No weekends scheduled in the programme, but flexibility is needed as weekends may be required
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience managing food retail fit-outs (E.G Tesco’s, Asda, Sainsbury’s or similar)
* Strong joinery knowledge/background
* Ability to coordinate trades and maintain tight programmes
* Good communication and client liaison skills
Essential Certifications:
* CSCS
* SMSTS
* First Aid
* Asbestos Awareness
* Fire Marshall
* Temporary Works Co-ordinator
