Site Manager

My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver an ongoing renewable scheme being delivered in the West Midlands. My client operate nationwide across the renewable energy sector.

Site manager responsibilities:

* Oversee project delivery from a site perspective

* Liaise with clients on site and manage sub-contractors

* Review contractors' RAMS and ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, work instructions, and designs

* Order materials and plant equipment and organize mobilization of major projects

* Carry out site audits and follow all guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures

* Maintain technical skills, attend training, and deliver work according to company procedures

* Manage a high-performing team and provide a positive work environment

* Adjust project schedules and navigate issues during the construction phase

* Maintain awareness of safety policies and report concerns promptly

* Provide regular feedback on performance and progress towards goals

* Ensure that projects are constructed safely, to high quality standards, on time and within budget

* Review weekly and monthly reports and follow safety and security procedures

* Attend site on a regular basis and complete all tasks as instructed

* Lead by example and reinforce safe behaviours

* Support the H&S team and generate internal reports and conferences

Site manager requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* CSCS card.

* SMSTS.

* First aid.

* IOSH.

* IT literate.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Experience and knowledge with planning and programming.
