Cad Technician

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join their East London team. The ideal candidate will have experience producing high-quality technical drawings for bespoke interior and exterior architectural features, supporting their design and production teams throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Create precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke plasterwork, cornices, ceiling roses, and other decorative architectural mouldings.

Interpret architectural and design specifications, transforming concepts into accurate working drawings.

*

Work closely with Project Managers, Design Coordinators, and Workshop staff to ensure design intent is maintained through to manufacture and installation.

*

Update and revise drawings as required, maintaining accurate drawing registers.

*

Assist in site surveys when necessary and incorporate on-site measurements into drawings.

*

Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards.

Requirements:

*

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with other CAD software (e.g. Rhino, SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.

Previous experience in architectural joinery, interiors, or heritage restoration preferred.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

*

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
