Site Agent – Havant Thicket Reservoir.

If you’re looking for long term, interesting work close to home then Havant Thicket Reservoir could be the place for you. It is the first new build reservoir in 30 years’ and will protect some of rarest chalk streams in the country and provide a futureproof source of water to the region – estimated completion is 2029.

The Site Agent will join a team in the centre of the reservoir constructing a major culvert which will house the pipework controlling the flow of water out of the reservoir. The culvert and valve tower are being delivered by a mixture of direct labour and their engineering team as a specialist reinforced concrete contractor.

Following completion of the project the business has a steady local workload on frameworks, reactive projects, private clients and local authorities on projects such a coastal protection, jetties, water treatment works, marine engineering and more.

Site Agent responsibilities:

* Writing risk assessments and method statements

* Supporting the engineering team with long-term and short programmes

* Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN (NEC Contract)

* Overall responsibility of health and safety

* Managing design and quality of the project

* Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
