About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our cost consultancy team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and work on a variety of exciting and high-profile projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and tender documentation.
* Support contract administration and post-contract cost control.
* Attend site visits, take measurements, and assist with valuations.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
* Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting.
* Work towards professional development and RICS chartership (if applicable).
About the Requirements
* Degree-qualified (or currently studying) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Some practical experience in a consultancy or construction environment (preferred).
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Familiarity with software such as CostX, Excel, or similar tools.
* Full UK driving licence (if site visits required).
