Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

* Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery whilst assisting a Senior Surveyor

* Attending monthly CVR meetings Recruitment Requirements

* Commercial assistance on several live projects or projects at pre-construction phase Post-tender internal and external pricing analysis / assessment

* Assistance in the management of subcontract accounts

* Develop an understanding of all designated contracts, specification and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughout the contracts

* Site visits and measurement of subcontract accounts

Candidate Profiles

* Possession of HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline

* Strong commercial acumen

* Being willing to understand instruction and learn from the experience of others Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills

* IT skills in MS Excel and Word
