Job Title: Social Value Coordinator
Location: Glasgow
Reporting To: HR Manager

Contract Scotland is working with a leading infrastructure services provider to recruit a Social Value Coordinator to support the delivery of social value initiatives on a major Roads Maintenance and Operations contract in North Lanarkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their social value or community engagement career, or with strong administrative experience and an interest in making a positive impact. The successful candidate will play a key supporting role in helping to coordinate, track, and administer a wide range of community-focused initiatives.

In time, and with support from the HR Manager, this role offers a clear development path into independently delivering and hosting events and representing the business across key social value activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide coordination and administrative support to the Social Value function

Manage shared mailboxes, calendars, event invites, and internal communications

Assist in the organisation and delivery of community and stakeholder events, initially attending alongside the HR Manager

Help track and report on key social value metrics, maintaining accurate records and reporting templates

Support the collection of data and content for case studies, impact reports, and award submissions

Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and community partners under the guidance of the HR Manager

Help ensure that social value initiatives are aligned with contractual commitments and internal targets

Provide general admin support including document management, scheduling, and preparing materials for meetings and events

About You:

Experience in an administrative, project coordination, or support role (experience in social value or CSR is a bonus but not essential)

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills

Interest in social impact, community engagement, or working within a public sector environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Willingness to occasionally travel to attend or support events and site visits
