PROJECT MANAGER
Our client, a successful and reputable building contractor, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major high-rise residential development in the heart of Manchester.
This is a pivotal role, ideal for a construction professional with a strong track record in delivering multi-storey residential or mixed-use schemes from inception to completion.
You will work with a reputable developer/main contractor on a landmark project, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, programme, and cost control are maintained throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full lifecycle of the high-rise residential project from pre-construction through to handover.
* Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary project teams including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, planning regulations, and contractual obligations.
* Track project progress against key milestones and manage risk mitigation strategies.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
* Manage budgets, procurement schedules, and change control processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience delivering high-rise residential or mixed-use schemes (£20M+ value).
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager role.
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety legislation.
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (preferred).
