Job Opportunity: Precast Steel Fixers – Major Manufacturing Site (Near Bristol)

📍 Location: Near Bristol, South West England

💰 Pay: Competitive rates (PAYE)+ Overtime

🕒 Hours: Full-time, long-term project

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Precast Steel Fixers to join our team on a major precast concrete manufacturing site near Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project with long-term work available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete
Positioning and securing steel reinforcement using hand and power tools
Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality control
Working efficiently within a large, fast-paced production team

Requirements:

✅ Proven experience in steel fixing (ideally in a precast or manufacturing environment)

✅ Ability to read technical drawings

✅ Valid CSCS card (NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing desirable)

✅ Own tools and PPE

✅ Strong awareness of site safety procedures
