Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of refurbishment projects within the Holiday Inn framework. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse range of hospitality refurbishments, ensuring cost efficiency and commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate cost planning, estimating, and forecasting for refurbishment projects.

Monitor project budgets and prepare regular cost reports.
*
Manage procurement of subcontractors and materials, ensuring value for money.
*
Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts in collaboration with the project team.
*
Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure commercial transparency.
*
Support contract administration under various forms of construction contracts (e.g., JCT).
*
Contribute to risk management, identifying cost risks and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with hospitality refurbishment or fit-out projects.
*
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
*
Excellent numeracy, communication, and negotiation skills.
*
Proficient in relevant QS software and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, CostX, CATO).
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote working environment.
*
Experience working within framework agreements and/or for hotel brands like Holiday Inn is highly advantageous.
*
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; RICS accreditation preferred but not essential.
