Foreman

We are currently seeking an experienced Groundwork Foreman for a new build residential project based in Bury St Edmunds. The role is with a well-established groundworks subcontractor, delivering a range of packages including foundations, drainage, and external works.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily groundwork operations on site

*

Coordinate with site management and subcontractor teams

*

Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification

*

Manage labour, materials and plant efficiently

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality

Requirements:

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential

*

Gold CSCS Card – Minimum requirement

*

Proven experience as a Groundwork Foreman on similar new build residential projects

*

Strong knowledge of groundworks, civils, and site procedures

*

Ability to lead a team and liaise effectively with site managers and subcontractors
