Construction Administrator / Document Controller – 6 Month Contract
Location: Manchester
Contract: 6 Months (with potential to extend)
Start Date: ASAP
£30K-£35K – Pro Rata
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Administrator / Document Controller to join a busy project team for a high-profile construction scheme based in Manchester. This is a 6-month contract role, ideal for someone with strong admin and document control experience in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage project documentation using relevant document control systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Asite, 4Projects, or similar)
*
Ensure all drawings, documents, and reports are up to date and correctly distributed to internal teams and external stakeholders
*
Support the site and project team with general administration including meeting coordination, reports, timesheets, and filing
*
Track and record document revisions, RFIs, and approvals
*
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain document control standards and processes
*
Provide administrative support to site-based teams when required
Requirements:

Previous experience in a construction admin or document controller role is essential
*
Familiarity with document control platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex, or 4P)
*
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*
Ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
*
Excellent communication and coordination skills
