Electrical Site Manager -Oxford-OX2 -£350 Day Rate- ASAP Start
The Recruitment Crowd are currently looking for an Electrical Site Manager in Oxford to start ASAP!
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the electrical installation for a substantial building project in Oxford.
This exciting opportunity involves overseeing the electrical aspects of a large-scale development designed for life science building.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all electrical engineering operations from initial conception through to completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Hours- 7-5
Key Responsibilities
o Working closely with the Electrical Project Manager daily
o Overlooking and managing the electrical staff on the project through to handover
o Co-ordinate site activities to ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site/contract procedures and HSE requirements
o Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the work requirements and organising the various operatives and subcontractors to meet completion deadlines
o Take ownership of the client’s needs and pursue good communications with the customer to build and maintain a stable relationship
o Act as the first point of contact and be proactive regarding client changes and extra works
Qualifications/Experienced required
o Previous experience within an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor role, on M&E projects worth up to £5M
o Minimum of 5+ years in electrical industry
o Experience with driving and managing sub-contractors and ability to communicate effectively
o NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2391/2394/5 (required)
o 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
o Health & Safety (IOSH accreditation desirable)
o Management of design phase
o Experience delivering electrical projects to a variety of commercial sectors
o Financial Management of project and working to budgets
o Have strong client facing and communication skills
o Speed and accuracy of work a priority
o The ability to work within a diverse team
o Proficient in MS Office, word and excel
o A full driving licence
o Permanent right to work in the UK, without Employer support
