Assistant Project Manager – Fit Out – Slough

We are currently partnering with a Fit-out contractor with proven success across Europe on Data Centre Projects, Roofing contracts and many more. With capabilities and expertise across the whole construction sector they are looking to expand their team with an Assistant Project Manager with a background in Fit Out, Drylining, Ceilings and partitions to join their team in Slough.

Responsibilities

* Support Project Delivery

Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of on-site delivery for fit-out, drylining, ceilings, and partition systems, ensuring works progress in line with programme and quality standards.

* Subcontractor & Site Coordination

Work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication, smooth logistics, and timely execution of project phases.

* Programme & Progress Tracking

Monitor construction schedules, report on site progress, and help identify any risks or delays, escalating issues to the Project Manager as needed.

* Health & Safety Compliance

Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture on site by supporting toolbox talks, ensuring method statements and risk assessments are followed, and reporting any incidents.

* Document Control & Reporting

Maintain accurate project documentation including site diaries, daily reports, RFIs, and snagging logs, and assist in compiling progress updates and handover packs.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background

Must have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role

Must be based within commutable distance of site

£35,000 – £50,000 + benefits
