Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) frame works on a high-security site in Reading. This is a subcontractor delivery role requiring deep technical understanding, on-site leadership, and proven experience managing complex civils packages in a live environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage groundworks and RC frame packages from inception to handover

*

Coordinate daily site activities, ensuring programme milestones and safety standards are met

*

Liaise with the client, main contractor, and internal teams to ensure effective delivery

*

Manage site logistics, workforce, subcontractors, and material scheduling

*

Monitor costs, variations, and progress reports in conjunction with commercial and site teams

*

Ensure compliance with project-specific nuclear and security protocols

Requirements:

*

Proven background as a Project Manager delivering groundworks and RC frame projects for subcontractors

*

BPSS or SC security clearance is essential

*

Valid Black CSCS Card (Manager level)

*

SMSTS and First Aid certifications

*

Ability to manage teams, drive programme, and uphold safety and quality standards

*

Previous experience delivering works on high-security, high-spec infrastructure sites (e.g. MOD, nuclear, defence) preferred
