Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a market leading contractor who specialise in cut and carve, refurbishment, new build and prime fit out sectors. The company has been around 20 years with a turnover of £150m+. Typical projects range from £3m-£10m with the largest projects reaching £80m.

About the role:

The company is seeking a senior quantity surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for overseeing a 3 phased refurbishment project in central London, eventually moving on to a larger project later in the year. If you have experience leading multiple projects with varied values and complexities, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

* Take full responsibilities for all financial procedures

* Appoint and manage subcontractors and provide feedback on completion of works

* Attend and if necessary, chair meetings with design teams and subcontractors

* Prepare monthly CVRs and create regular budget and price updates

* Internally reporting into management, keeping them fully informed of issues and potential risks to the business

Key Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of experience

* Proven experience of fit out, new build or refurbishment works

* Previous experience of successfully leading large commercial projects and its delivery within time and budget constraints to a high quality

* CSCS card holder
