Freelance Site Engineer – Bridge/Highways

The Project

As an experienced Site Engineer, you will work on a bearing & joint replacement on a Bridge over the Rail.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;

SMSTS
First Aid
CSCS Card
PTSIt is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

Solid understanding of engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience as a Site / Senior Engineer on highways & bridge projects

Duties

Setting out and surveying of the site
Setting up and maintaining site control
Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
Ensuring compliance with works standards
To Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
Attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development
Setting out for bridge joints, bearing replacements, drainage, structures, groundworks, concrete works and general civils
