A well-established interiors and refurbishment main contractor, specialising in high-quality projects across commercial and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team due to continued growth.
The Role:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in securing new business by preparing accurate and competitive tenders. The projects you will be involved in typically range from £1m to £5m, ensuring exceptional results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare detailed cost estimates for refurbishment and fit-out projects (£1m-£5m).
– Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify project scope and risks.
– Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
– Develop tender strategies to maximise win rates and profitability.
What They’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in the interiors and refurbishment sector.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
