Senior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major university accommodation development in East London. This flagship project will span four years and involves the construction of a high-rise residential building, providing modern, high-quality student accommodation as part of the university's long-term strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Take overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the project to time, cost, and quality standards
Lead client-side project management activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from inception to completion
Oversee design coordination, procurement strategy, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement
Provide leadership and direction to a team of Junior Project Managers, supporting their development and ensuring effective delegation and oversight
Liaise with the client, design team, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction
Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on key project milestones, risks, and financial performance
Support the implementation of governance structures and quality assurance procedures in line with industry best practices
Manage change control processes and maintain a clear audit trail of decisions and approvals

Requirements:

Proven experience delivering complex, high-rise residential or student accommodation projects – preferably within the education sector
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement processes, and risk management
Demonstrable leadership capabilities and prior experience managing junior or assistant project managers
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Professionally qualified – APM, MAPM, or PRINCE2 (Practitioner) preferred
Able to attend site 2-3 days per week in East London
