The Senior Project Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio, ensuring a coherent and coordinated approach to building safety during a period of increasing expectations.

Day to Day of the Role

Manage and support a small team of Project Surveyors to deliver an annual programme of surveys, interim measures, and remedial works.
Take charge of challenging projects, ensuring successful outcomes for customers.
Provide support to the Head of Delivery to ensure effective communication, reporting, and adherence to commercial procedures.
Offer technical expertise to the department, establishing regimes to manage projects and project files in a consistent and compliant manner.
Travel within the operational areas, including Midlands and East Anglia, to provide coverage as needed.
Contribute to the implementation and delivery of compliance within the changing legislative and regulatory framework.Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical expertise in typical building defects and all parts forming the Building Regulations.
Experience in managing complex and sensitive works programmes that enhance building safety.
Strong contract management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and programmes simultaneously.
Proficient in maintaining project trackers and providing updates to stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex issues clearly to assure residents.
