EHS Manager – Major Data Centre
We are seeking experienced and proactive Safety Advisors and EHS Managers to join a major Data Centre project in Belgium. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an international main contractor known for delivering complex, high-value projects across Europe.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who leads from the front, builds trust quickly, and is passionate about raising safety standards in high-performance environments.
As the EHS Manager, you will report directly to the Project Director, with a dotted line to the European Group Head of Safety. You will take full ownership of the Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) agenda on-site, playing a pivotal role in ensuring a strong safety culture is embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
You’ll be responsible for developing effective working relationships across all levels—from the client and main site team to subcontractors. Your leadership and ability to align everyone under a unified safety vision will be crucial to the project's success.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of project-specific HSSE strategies
* Drive a proactive safety culture across all project stakeholders
* Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and regular site inspections
* Ensure incident and near-miss investigations are conducted thoroughly and corrective actions are implemented
* Build strong relationships with client representatives and on-site teams
* Promote continuous improvement in all safety-related matters
Requirements
* NEBOSH or equivalent recognised safety qualification
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Safety Advisor or Manager role on large-scale construction projects
* Strong understanding of construction site welfare, including both build and civil engineering works
* Previous experience working for a main contractor or specialist subcontractor
* EU/UK passport desired due to work permit constraints
* Previous Data Centre or high-tech infrastructure experience is highly advantageous
* Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a strong asset
