Location: Northampton

Salary: £30-35,000

An established, design-focused architectural practice in Northampton is looking for a Newly Qualified Architect (RIBA Part 3) to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified architect eager to contribute to a varied portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, and educational sectors.

What you'll be doing:

Assist in the design and development of projects from concept through to completion

Create detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations using industry-standard software

Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project coordination

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and regulations

Incorporate sustainable, innovative design principles throughout your work

Keep abreast of evolving industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies

Present ideas and project updates clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders

What we're looking for:

RIBA Part 3 qualified (or recently qualified with ARB registration pending)

Proficient in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp

Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction techniques

Strong design sensibility with excellent attention to detail and visual presentation skills

Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Skilled at managing time and juggling multiple deadlines effectively

Passionate about sustainable, forward-thinking design
