Remuneration: £40,000 – £50,000 + profit share bonus

The role of the Product Engineer – Electrical Products will involve:
* Product Engineer position dealing with a high end manufactured rang of electrical products
* Assist with the development of new and existing products
* Carry out testing of product samples from manufacturers and overseas suppliers
* Establishing product specifications, writing product briefs, and determining applicable standards
* Establishing product and packaging labelling and marking requirements including packaging labels, product instruction leaflets and data sheets
* Collaborate with the Quality Team to investigate product problems, to report findings and manage product improvements with partner factories
* Produce product documentation, risk assessments and compliance reports
The ideal applicant will be a Product Engineer – Electrical Products with:
* Must have experience within Product Development or Product Design within the electromechanical industry
* Ideally will have dealt with a range of electrical products such as: Lighting, EV Chargers, Power Supplies
* Knowledge of electrical product application and electrical installation, including work practices on building sites would be of benefit
* Ideally will have experience liaising with global suppliers
* Ideally knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations
* High levels of organisation and attention to detail
* IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
