Facade Designer

About the Role:

This specialist subcontractor has built a strong reputation for excellence in stonework, cladding, and complete facade systems. With a robust pipeline of residential and commercial projects, they’re now looking to expand their in-house design team with an experienced Facade Designer.

You’ll play a key role in developing detailed design solutions from concept through to construction, liaising closely with main contractors, architects, suppliers, and the internal delivery team.

Responsibilities:

Produce detailed facade drawings, models, and technical submissions.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design challenges.

*

Work across multiple facade systems – including natural stone, rainscreen cladding, and brickslip systems.

*

Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and fire performance standards.

*

Support the Design Manager and site teams through RFI responses and design clarifications.

Requirements:

*

3+ years' experience in facade design (preferably with a subcontractor).

*

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and/or 3D modeling software.

*

Familiarity with current facade systems, materials, and regulations.

*

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

*

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
