Junior Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Site Engineer on behalf of a Construction contractor to work on a scheme in Tyneside.

This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with a business who are continually growing and securing more and more exciting projects.

Duties include:

* Reviewing drawings for completeness with regards for setting out requirements for sub-contractor works.

* Setting out of works where not included in sub-contractor packages

* Providing datum/control to sub-contractors to allow

* Checking of setting of sub-contractor works.

* Quality Assurance checks on sub-contractor works.

* Recording as-built survey information of in progress & completed sub contract works

* Liaising with design team to clarify sub-contractor design queries.

* Support to Site Team with Health and Safety compliance.

Candidates would ideally have completed a Level 3 NVQ in Construction and the Built Environment or a related qualification.

A minimum of 2 years site based experience on Commercial Build projects is also required.

Remuneration

A salary of up to £30,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits is included in the package.
