Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee commercial interiors and joinery fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, ensuring high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of commercial interior and joinery fit-out projects from inception to completion.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
* Coordinate with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions to address issues proactively.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
* Conduct regular site visits to oversee work progress, inspect quality, and resolve on-site issues.
* Prepare and review contractual documentation, procurement strategies, and variation orders.
* Manage project documentation, including drawings, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
* Foster strong customer relationships and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
* Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and site staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial interiors and joinery fit-out sector.
* Strong understanding of joinery, carpentry, and interior fit-out processes.
* Relevant construction/project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).
* Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and standards.
* Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency with project management software and MS Office suite.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with BIM or CAD software.
* Knowledge of sustainable building practices.
* Experience working with high-end commercial clients.
