Our client are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support commercial operations on a major infrastructure project in Cardiff. This role involves managing contract administration, risk management, and cost control, ensuring profitability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with subcontractors and advise on contractual issues.

* Support project leaders with cost reporting and risk management.

* Prepare financial statements, variations, and monthly progress reports.

* Ensure commercial compliance with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 Option C).

* Contribute to procurement, subcontract management, and final account settlements.

* Lead on cost planning and measurement of quantities.

* Maintain strong documentation and adherence to company procedures.

Requirements:

* BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

* 4+ years of post-graduate experience (or 8+ years in a similar role).

* NEC contract experience essential.

* Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

* Experience in civils/building projects, knowledge of ISO standards
