Mechanical Project Manager

Trade Cover Recruitment are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a solid background in the construction industry to join our growing team. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage both Mechanical and Electrical project teams and is comfortable working as both a Principal Contractor (PC) and a Subcontractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical and electrical teams across medium to large-scale construction projects (values ranging from £5 million to £25 million).

*

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of M&E works on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

*

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and main contractors, representing the business in a professional and competent manner.

*

Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of all project elements.

*

Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and deliverables.

*

Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and quality standards.

Key Requirements:

*

Proven track record as a Project Manager in the construction industry.

*

Strong mechanical background, with the ability to oversee both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

*

Experience delivering projects as both a Main Contractor and a Subcontractor.

*

Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with clients and project teams on behalf of a Main Contractor.

*

Experience with medium to large-scale projects (from £5M to £25M).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
