Mechanical Project Manager

a Mechanical Project Manager is required to join a well-established M&E contractor specialising in commercial fit-out projects across London. As the Mechanical Project Manager you’ll take the lead on mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final handover, managing subcontractors, timelines, quality, and client expectations on prestigious office and commercial schemes ranging from £500k to £5m+.

Mechanical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the full life cycle of mechanical services on commercial fit-out projects (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

* Manage subcontractors and coordinate closely with electrical, architectural, and client teams.

* Ensure delivery against programme, quality standards, and budget requirements.

* Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors.

* Lead progress reporting, commissioning, and handover processes.

* Provide input on design coordination and value engineering opportunities.

* Proven experience delivering mechanical services on fast-track commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.

* Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
