Cherry Picker Banksman

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Banksman to join our team on a busy construction site", "a city maintenance project. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the safe operation of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), ensuring efficient communication and hazard awareness on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide cherry picker (MEWP) operators safely in and around the work area

*

Monitor and control the surrounding environment to prevent risks to personnel or property

*

Communicate clearly with operators using approved hand signals or two-way radio

*

Ensure safe pedestrian and vehicle movement near MEWP operations

*

Conduct pre-operation checks of access routes and potential hazards

*

Report safety concerns and incidents in line with company policy

Requirements:

*

Valid Banksman / Signaller certification

*

MEWP awareness or relevant site safety training

*

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations

*

Good communication and situational awareness

*

Experience working on construction or maintenance sites (preferred)

*

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
