Job Title: Site Manager – M&S Refurbishment
Location: Clapham, London
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Start Date: Within 2–3 weeks
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join a £2M refurbishment project for a major high-street retailer in Clapham. The scope includes Shell & Core and Cat A finishes, with works taking place in a live, operational environment.

The successful candidate will report to an experienced Project Manager and be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activity, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage site operations on a live refurbishment project

Coordinate subcontractors and trades

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

*

Maintain programme deadlines and quality standards

*

Support structural and architectural works in a constrained urban site

Requirements:

*

Previous experience managing retail or commercial refurbishment projects

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to manage live environments and fast-track programmes

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (preferred)
